Mountain Biking

Reid and I went mountain biking at a beautiful scenic park northeast of Fountain Hills. (I've already forgotten the name of the park...sorry!)

Reid is definitely the pro between the two of us! He supplied me with all the gear to hook me up with a great experience. It was a lot of fun, and lots of work. I had to learn to be patient with the pedals!

We had a nice picnic lunch at a playground on some swings. Thanks for the great adventure...and sunburn!

The Yarn Game

For FHE, a couple of weeks ago, we played the yarn game. It's a game my dad would whip out when we had parties back in the day. It's so much fun, and it continues to be still fun! I'm not going to tell you about it because maybe one day I'll do it with you!

Cassie's 26th Birthday!

Cassie's birthday is February 21st. Unfortunately, she had class all day on her birthday, but we had a chance to celebrate the next day!

She had her birthday party at The Cheesecake Factory. Wow! I have never seen such large dishes before! Yummy!

Austin was amazing and took care of the tab for all of us. Thanks so much!

Then Cassie, Austin, Dan, and I went to the movies and saw Jumper. Dan stepped up and bought us the tickets. What great guys! I felt spoiled, and it wasn't even my birthday!

I'd say Cassie had a successful birthday! Thanks for inviting me to be a part of it! Have a great year!

Broom Hockey

February 18, 2008 landed on a Monday this year. Happy Birthday, Cara! I celebrated by going to FHE. We had a great lesson and then played some serious broom hockey.

Unfortunately, I was unable to play because I was a bit under the weather. I found out a few days later that I had the flu. I was so weak and had no energy for a week. It was no fun.

But, it appeared to me that everyone was enjoying themselves playing or watching the game. Monique also sported a great big smile!

So I was confused to see all the spots in my photos, but I was told because of the waxed floor the spots appeared from the reflection from the lights. They just add a funky effect to the pictures!

Girlfriends

Monique and Cassie are a couple of my favorite friends here in Chandler. They are so sweet, kind, wise, and friendly. I'm so grateful we have met and have shared so many great times together. This particular night Monique and I were over at Cassie's to visit teach.
